I was on the fence about how much clear bra to go for, but after reading this thread and seeing that so many people are having issues, I'm going to go with the full coverage clear bra (full hood and fenders in addition to the usual bumper, headlights, and side mirrors). Will be taking the car directly from the dealer to the clear bra shop down the street, as I'd rather have someone do it that specializes in that.

Clear coating on my Phantom black Pearl S5 is chipping in the lower left rocker panel portion on my drivers side door. No ding that caused it, it just flaked off. Dealer agreed and has sent pics to Audi before repairing. Hope it wont be a big deal but it is a disappointment for sure.

We're having the same problem. Just bought a new Audi 2009 A4 3.2. Hood chipped already. Contacted the dealer. Not sure what they can or will do. Advice appreciated - thanks! Bryan

Is it a coincidence that the company Clearbra has an office in Rockville MD?
Does anybody else know any other reputable companies (based upon your experience) that provide this service? Living in the DC/Baltimore area there is no escaping traffic, bumps and chips.
Thanks.

I ordered and received my chip fix-it kit from Dr Colorchip.

Have any of you used it?
I have been holding off on trying it on a less prominent place than my hood.
