whenever it rains my wheels get water in the channel behind the spokes and then it doesn't come out!
Above 60 mph the vibration i get in the steering wheel is insane, around 75 it shakes the entire car. I've learned to carry a towel or stop by gas stations and dry them out with paper towels but its ridiculous. Tomorrow I'm switching to my winter wheels (stock wheels with Dunlop wintersport 3D 255/35/19).
do i have any options or do you guys just 'deal' with the vibration in the rain.

Vibration in any rotating object is caused by imbalance, so unless you think the water is sticking to a specific spot on the wheel due to centrifugal force it seems unlikely to me that the imbalance would be caused by standing water.

there is a channel inside the wheel behind the spokes that traps water and makes for a horrible ride in wet weather. There is no solution to the problem but to just accept the design.
The next time you come by the house, you'll have to check out the way the Volk wheel is tapered along the inner edge fo the rim to prevent any water capture in the rim.

I have iForged Flux wheels and last winter I called them about the same issue and they now have a solution. They are small rain scuppers that sit in the depression and don't let the water rotate with the wheel. It does seem to have fixed my issue. The tires do have to come off of the wheels when the scuppers are installed.

I have a fun filled day of meetings, but, I will go downstairs sometime and shoot a couple for you. Hopefully posting pictures isn't too bad on here, I haven't tried it yet ...
