For many of us, the Port of Houston has been, is, and will be the Port of Entry for our vehicles and the VW brand as a whole. Nonetheless, I found this little write-up this morning while trying to uncover how VW AG (therein Audi) interfaces with the Port of Houston. Article was written in 2007, but still has some interesting figures on the logistics and how far-reaching the automotive import business is to the local and regional economies.
