what do you guys think about powder coating the stock rims black? Does anyone know a place in nor cal where i could get this done?

Black wheels are a matter of personal preference. Personally I think it would look good only on a black car but once again, personal preference. That being said there are many, many different finishes of "black" you can go with, ranging from a full gloss to an almost flat black. As for places to have it done, try E-Tech Powdercoating in Walnut Creek, MAAS Brothers Powdercoating in Livermore (expensive), Reliance in San Leandro, or West Coast Powder Coating in South SF. Keep in mind I have no personal experience with any of these places, but I have heard good things about each one of them.
