BMW pure performance. Are you joking. Where is their Halo car. The R8 looks and sounds and feels like pure performance. Which BMW is keeping up with it? Everyone has a BMW because its like an Iphone. Just want to be in the club. Oh by the way BMW also makes all wheel drive. I wonder why they do. AUDI!!!!
Apparently, BMW was the company that created the luxury sports sedan. They've stayed true to the front engine/ rear wheel drive layout, too.
I think only recently Audi has really caught my attention.
The same goes for Nissan, for me.
In my eyes, Audi makes gorgeous cars. The company seems to highly value design & technology.
BMW is(was) about pure performance..

Good observation.
Had a 2010 S4, purely for the looks and awesome engine.
Then, I realized, that was it -- the performance (steering feel, cornering...) was a joke. The "fun factor" disappeared quickly.
Back to the 335is and will never look back...
Audi has a lot of work to do to be a true PERFORMANCE competitor to the BMW. Otherwise -- a great looking VW

BMW can have their so called "performance". Here in Atlanta their a "dime a dozen"............common as a soccer mom's mini van. Boring.
My S5 is beyond amazing. I've owned 3 Beemers and this Audi S5 is in a league of it's own when it comes to pure enjoyment, quality, class, ride, fun, and uniqueness. I felt good ordering my Audi. I feel 100 times better owning and driving it.

Uniqueness??? How many 335is were produced vs. S5's?
Anyway, enjoy it!

Match in...what? 0-60 --> yes, it should be.
More buttons, more attractive layout -- correct.
Crappy steering -- yep, can match the F30 (too bad for BMW, although, this is their first stab on it; Audi had it for years and still has not figured it out...)
Boat-like handling -- sorry, long way to match that
What else?

The 335is is definitely a car that catches my attention when I see one on the street, but the S5 is in a whole different league as far as catching my attention. It doesn't catch it, it GRABS it and holds me staring . . haha. The new 991 Porsche kind of makes my mouth drop open until it passes by . . . i saw the Carrera S Cabriolet version a couple of weeks back.
