All my vibration issues have been related to alignment being out due to potholes and curbs. Alignment being out will kill tires. dealer does not like doing alignment - gather that the machine is a pain to calibrate.

They pulled all the A5 service bulletins for me from their system and there was nothing on the vibration. took a drive and could not replicate it with the tech rep, but i told them to keep it until it's fixed.
Will keep the group posted ...
A5, no S-Line, stock everything

i keep a towel in my trunk in the event i drive in the rain, just to dry out the puddles that form. Above 55 mph it can get really bad...
It took me two rain storms to figure this out. It felt like my wheels were about to fall off.

Does anyone know if this is limited to the 2008 models or is it being seen on the 2009's as well? I am picking my car this weekend. Is there anything specific I should ask the dealer to do before I get it? It sounds like the issue comes up after you have had it a while, so is a pre-emptive balance worth doing?
