Default Rattle in passenger door, seeing if anyone has something similar.

Intermittent issue which seems to occur at speeds above 40mph. Sounds like a popping/snapping noise near the speaker. Car has been in twice and no dice. Dealer states they have padded the speaker and checked all harnesses within the door. At this point I am willing to try anything, even though none of you have been there in person to hear it. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Default When stereo is on or off?

Smooth roads? Bumpy roads?

Or, could there be a exposed wire running through that area?

Could it be the something to do with the right front wheel liner? or something caught under the car in that area?

Tossing out a couple ideas......

Try ruling out everything, like turning the stereo completely off, and the climate control.

Try different road surfaces (if possible).
Different gears at same speed. and so on.....

Wild guess here- i had this happen to me in my Q7 just 3 days ago.. this vibrating noise began over on my passenger side as i got up to speed. Couldn't figure it out until i pulled over and found a leaf, caught by its stem, in the lower body panel, and it was vibrating against the car. I pulled it off- noise gone.

??

Good luck- hope you find it.

Default Radio off, bumpier roads. Judging by the sound it doesn't sound muffled. In other words...

it sounds like it is originating from the exterior of the panel inside the cabin.

Default nothing in the glove box rattling?

did you/they check under the dash, behind the glove box?

Or have you specifically isolated the sound to be coming from the door? Is/can someone sit in the passenger seat while you are driving to see if they can hear it better?

Again... ideas....

Default Same Rattle/Buzz, on Driver's Side for me (A5)

I hear it at about ear-level, seems to come from within padding along door, or sill. Certain bass notes in stereo can send it a-buzzing, but it can be heard with normal of road-induced driving vibrations as well. Car is just one month old, haven't taken it in yet.
