Replica wheels

Looking to upgrade wheels on a A5 Premium. Don't want to spend $3000 for a set of forged wheels. See a lot of alternatives in the under $1000 range, but wonder if I'm buying a problem with these types of wheels? There are a few eBay vendors with +99% satisfaction ratings but then I hear the replicas may be subject to bending. Any thoughts?

+1. I wouldn't take a chance on eBay for wheels. You will never know what kind of quality you are going to get. An eBay seller gets their feedback rating pretty quickly, so you won't know about any issues like cracking or bending that can show up after the first week or two.
