With AWD, the G35 looks like it's setting its sights squarely on the A5 Quattro and 335xi coupes. And with probably 300+ hp in it, I can hear more people complaining about Audi's choice to underpower the A5.

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=122416</a

It's humorous how Infiniti and BMW have touted RWD superiority and now they are rushing to get on the AWD band-wagon... I will say that the G37 does at least 'look' nice in the television advertisements...

So it may actually be closer to the S5 in performance than the A5, though it trailed the S5 and 335i in Motive's comparison. Nevertheless, at a $35k base price, it's a heck of a deal.

are higher power output and lower price. Nothing else about that car, IMHO, can be seen as having an advantage over the others.

its interior can't hold a candle to the A5/S5's. If I ever went with a G37, I think I'd be ready to toss it after a few years. The S5 on the other hand (outside of the gas guzzler concerns), I'm ready to drive it for a decade.

The curves are exaggerated and the headlights look atrocious to me. Throw in the tinny sound of the engine/exhaust and I can't find much that appeals to me with that car.
