Default Review: STaSIS Rear Sway Bar

Had this installed by my indie and it took just under an hour. Initial impressions:

1. Wow that 28MM bar is beefy (and lighter than stock as it is tubular)!
2. Car absolutely feels more neutral / understeer has clearly been reduced
3. Absolutely improved levels of adhesion - there are a few corners that I had taken previously where the car would plow but now the car just simply stays planted; even at higher entry speeds
4. I no longer need to back off the throttle in order to tuck the nose in - the car simply goes where pointed
5. The car feels lighter on its feet now that it doesn't understeer so bad
6. The combination of Quattro and the bigger rear bar now allows me to power through corners / power out of corners that I previously would have been concerned about the car running wide (similar to nos. 3 and 4 above).

Overall: AWESOME upgrade and easily the best thing I've done to my S5 since the custom tune!!

Definitely worth the $279!

STaSIS - Part # for A5/S5: SA15.3100.00

Awesome! Did you do the install yourself? Do you need to drop the exhaust to install?

Nope - had my indie do it but I did read the instructions beforehand. Pretty simple (IMHO) and as respects the exhaust, it would be easier to drop it but my indie did fine with just removing the hangers.

Is your BMC filter just a panel replacement or a cone setup?

Round venturi-style (v. the factory filter which is round w/a cap) - fits in factory location
