Default ride quality in a S5 cabrio

My wife and I have been considering getting rid of her car and getting either a A5 or S5 cabrio. I want the S5 but since she will driving it I have to be flexible. She preferred the softer ride of the A5 but felt it needed more power.

Can anyone tell me if there is a comfort mode setting in an S5 cabrio that would give you that A5 like ride but with S5 power?

I asked my "audi expert" and he couldnt tell me and seems that he cant be bothered to find out.

Drove 75K km with a S5 cabrio, and I think it is a very comfy ride, especially if you order it with the adaptive suspension, then you can put it in Comfort mode, and then almost no difference with a normal A5 imho.

And even the RS5 can be acceptable in ride quality for some, see https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...0#post24492780

Cars.com shows at least three S5 Cabs in your general area. There's one at Montgomeryville Nissan and another at Princton Audi. They both have the Audi Select that adjusts the suspension.

Seems to me they could be used to "test drive" the adjustable suspension to see if you like it.

For 6% I will give you the long answer but for free a fast one.
I have had both for less than $500.00 you can chip your A5 and it will fell almost as strong as the S5 Cab. The S5 is very smooth with ADS in comfort.

I'd suggest driving both of course... I have the S5 with whatever the multi mode suspension is called and I always drive it in "individual" because it tightens up the steering which I prefer. Honestly a cab with 19" rims is going to ride differently than the 18" or whatever smaller stock rims on the A5.. which is why i bought my e46M3 with 18's instead of 19's... again, drive both if you can. I had to trek 200miles to even sit in one, and drove more than 400 met the guy halfway to buy mine... love the car though!!!
