New member, first post. Glad to be aboard!
I signed up mostly to better acquainted with Audi products through the experience of owners.
It so happens I am an Audi owner, or lessee I should say, in that I am leasing a 2010 A6 Supercharged that my soon-to-be ex-wife drives. I'll be coming out of the lease in the next year, possibly sooner depending on the divorce becoming final and other considerations, and may want to consider swapping 2011 Porsche Spyder I'm now driving (I own) if it makes financial sense and there's an Audi model that can compel me.
Disclosure: I've been driving P-cars over the past 13 years, so I have a certain built-in bias. I am open, however.
Can you tell me why I might want to consider the RS5 and when will it be available for 2013?
Thanks!

Are you looking for a sports coupe with a backseat? That's one thing the RS5/S5 has that a 2-seater Porsche does not have.
Another thing is the Quattro ... are you looking for an AWD ? I assume your Porsche is a rear-wheel drive. You are better off with an Audi in winter, if you have the 4 seasons.
If you're looking for handling, the Porsche sits lower and handles tighter. But I guess you already know that. However, in terms of the interior elegance and comfy ride, the Audi wins. For long distance drives, the Audi will be more comfortable as a grand tourer. If you're only using the car for short distance travels and maneuvering during rush hours, you probably will be better off with the P car.
I had a BMW coupe which had a harsher ride, and I like the Audi ride better.

In my opinion, because it is an amazing all around car in terms of prestige, sportiness, practicality. Very few things compare. However, there are better specialty cars out there if you don't mind having multiple cars or living with a car that whose core capabilities are solely one dimensional.
