Default RS5 Brake Rotors - Girodisc vs OEM?

Has anyone has Girodisc rotors on an RS5? I need new rotors and pads and considering aftermarket vs OEM. I don't track the car at all, looking for any pros or cons for anyone who has them or has considered them.
Thanks in advance

If you don't track, any of the aftermarket rotors will work just fine and probably be better than the OEM disks (with their known wear issues).

Currently, off the top of my head, there are several options;
-Girodisc
-ECS Tuning
-JH Motorsports
-Racing Brakes

All are two-piece floating design with the JH Motorsports being the least expensive. I believe those and ECS Tuning are the lightest overall and both also offer a larger rotor upgrade with a new caliper bracket.

You basically can't go wrong with any of them.

I would go OEM because there are some website that are really competitive with After market prices and you could get the real thing plus get slightly more coverage under warranty

Why? The OEM's are actually inferior and are heavier.

I replaced my OEM's for front and rear Girodiscs with their Magic Pads on my RS5. I don't track my car either as this is my daily, but do some spirited driving during the weekends. I can attest that their magic pads are awesome. On par with OEM performance, if not, better. I haven't washed my car in over 3 weeks and my wheels still look freshly washed. My local dealer wanted my first born for all 4 corner reline and rotor replacement. ECS's shipping was expensive to Hawaii. Mike Owen from Girodisc was very helpful, answered all my questions, and shipped my set at a reasonable price to Hawaii.

Another option, correct offset for the front only are the C5 RS6 front rotors. I think they are cheaper than at least the scalloped RS5 rotors and really are better. They have directional cooling so there is a separate left & right part number. Rears off the RS6 are a different offset from the RS5 rears though.
