How many new RS5 owners have had an RS4, I am interested in getting your feedback as the current owner of a RS4 I am finding it difficult to give up my RS4 as this is absolutely the best car I have ever driven. I am interested in the driving experience between the 2 and whether the RS5 matches or exceeds the RS4 ???

RS$ Heavier, a little bit more understeering but I think it exceeds the RS4.

I assume you're referring to a B5 or B7 RS4, versus a B8 RS5. The RS5 has a bit more power, but comes with auto tranny only - though by all accounts a pretty sweet one - whereas the B7 RS4 came with manual tranny. On the other hand a 2013 RS5 has modern bells and whistles that a 2008 RS4 didn't.

I had a B7 RS4 and like you, really liked it. I traded it for my GT-R and while I love the GT-R, I did miss the Audi a lot. When the RS5 came to the US last summer, I jumped on it early and am very glad I did. Aesthetically I like it even more than my RS4 and while I do miss the RS4 manual, overall I find the car to be a small, but solid improvement.

GotRS?

I went from RS4 to RS5 and I haven't regretted it for one minute. The understeer is far better controlled with the new diff pushing the back around, the S-tronic transmission is great, I use it in manual mode only, the shifts are so quick I really don't miss the stick, and that blip when changing down is fun. Extra bells and whistles as already noted and it's a very good looking car as a bonus.

Ive had both and there very similar to one another IMO.
