Hi all - first post here. I just bought a new S5 cab about 2 weeks ago. I was able to get one that was already on the way to the states with the color/options I wanted (Black/black, navi, B&O, Carbon Fiber and Tri-spokes). It will be coming in at the end of the month. The dealer said if I wanted a custom order (I didn't want the tri-spokes or CF) it would be 90 days or more to get the car.

Paid about $1800 under MSRP (which is around $2k over invoice). Considering this dealer had the only S5 cab in the state (to test drive and use as a trading chip for mine), I was lucky to get anything off sticker.

If I had the option of getting a 2010 for 5k or so cheaper, and getting it today vs. 3-4 months, I would be taking the 2010...

Paid $3500 under MSRP on a 2011 ordered unit to my spec's. This was a $500,00 deal from what I was told.

No Audi loyalty, List was 64,225 plus Supercharger badges and Oil dip stick
Selling price $60,693.00

Venture guard done after for $275.00

The dealer was excellent and the car was sent out for detailing. I have never gotten a new car as detailed and clean as this.An outside service did the detailing and it was flawless. I have to give the dealer a 10 for effort.

According to my dealer, there was $1000 of Audi Loyalty available (unfortunately we had already gotten rid of the wife's A4).

Wreck - sounds like you got a great deal...I probably could've haggled more were I ordering one, but since they were going to swap one for me that was coming in, they weren't going to move very much...and because that meant I could get it 2 months sooner, I was ok with this.

The 30th can't come soon enough...will post pics when I get it.

Paid Cash, no financing. I believe in writing a check for everything. I hate paying interest.
The best part ordered 7/4 delivered first week in Sept.

Thanks for the thoughts, everyone. The dealer came down another $1,000 on the 2010 but I think we're going to go the special order route. Hey, wreck, was this a Maryland dealer you worked with? We are also in MD (Howard County) and willing to travel a little to get a deal. Are you comfortable telling me the name of the dealership?

P.S. I'm with you on cutting a check for the purchase - unless I can get zero percent financing.

Thanks!
