I have been waiting to order a 2011 S5 Cabrio (with 3.0 Supercharged engine)... only to find out now that I cannot get this car in the color combo that I want (white exterior with tan/beige interior)!! Both of my previous Audis (A6 & A6Q) were built from new in this same livery with no problem --- but now I am being highly restricted for the interior color!! Has anyone run into this issue... or I am just being too picky?

(NOTE: We get very HOT summers down here and a black, or other dark-colored interior is a definite no-no... especially in a Cabrio.)

Your thoughts...???

you can go the audi exclusive route and pay $5k for any interior color you want, if not your stuck with the options they offer.

I don't know if the light grey is available, but I had that color interior and it's very nice. Pictures don't do it justice.

I think you have two choices...

Get the S5 Cab with the Tuscan/Black interior or get the A5 Cab with the Beige interior. Unfortunately, that is the only way you will get close to tan.

I personally wish Audi wouldn't have gone with the two-tone interiors in the S5 Cab. That's the main reason I went with black. FYI, I live in Texas. We are already at over 100 degrees, and I've actually driven with the top down. I haven't found the black leather to be that hot.

Order the comfort package with the Tuscan interior and you will get full tuscan seats (i.e one color)

Doesn't the cab have the cooled seats option as well to help with this?

Thanks for the replies and info you provided... I am going to check with my dealer again today to see if I can order the A5 in candy white over tan/beige interior --- with the 2.0T engine. Its not really what I want but may be a decent comprimise. Does this model come as a Cabrio?

Also, maybe I will go with the Mercedes E-350... or that VW Passat CC Lux that my wife has her eye on...!!! (Both are available in white over tan.)

You can get an A5 2.0T cabriolet in Ibis White with Cardamom Beige (either in the standard leather or Milano leather). One note is that your choice in the roof colors for Ibis White is black or brown.
