Hi guys,
I am also interested in spacers and these pixs are really great to help visualise.
So far looks like MTMs and H&Rs are most popular from the surfing I have done & I guess quality of these are the best?
So I gather here that 15mm front and 20mm back is the ideal for those not lowering their rides.. if its 25mm back would it too protuding compared with the 15mm front?
Don

marsh - thanks so much for taking time to take those shots. Front looks just right for my taste and as you said, I may consider 25mm for the rear. Regardless, car looks night and day from stock.

i just purchased an 08 S5... the previous owner put 25 mm SPACERs on... it seems to work fine, but i didnt drive it before they were installed... it certainly handles well, and i havent had any problems (only 100 miles driven) with tires rubbing..
i have a concern that the "road dirt" will really scratch the bodywork behind the wheels, but dont want mud flaps... so not sure if i'll keep them on? i'd be interested in any advice...

The general consensus is that you will be fine although probably a good idea to remove the spacers in the winter as the salt & sand (at least here in the Northeast) could definitely do some damage. Not sure where you live so don't know if this would be an issue for you...

GTA - did you state that the tires are rubbing in the back with the 25mm spacers?
I thought 25mm would clear the fenders without any issues. Does it have wider tires?
Thank you

Thanks GTA - I misread your earlier post:

here in New England and while there is more dirt, salt and sand up on the car nothing has been too bad.. A thorough detail with clay bar will take care of most of it. No rubbing at stock height.

Thanks... i live in Chicago, so it's likely the same... there is 3M film body protectant on the bumper and front of hood, and i'm considering having it applied also behind the wheels... instead of mud flaps... the guy who did the front for the previous owner said he'd do it for $200...
