...but there is a voice command module on this screen...Address 67-Voice Control:

I have not spent any time investigating that module, but I do know that it takes long coding, so no reference "bubble window" for help. Maybe Folkie or next time I see FinallyS5 or Roswell'S5.
To be conitnued for sure...

I'm contemplating buying the new USB VAGCOM to replace my older COM interface but I want to make sure it will have the functionality I will need.

...because it was disabled. One could probably find some "fault" at the person who did that modification. I would not do it to protect myself from any potential liability.
Sounds a bit simplistic, but I believe in it.

Any luck keeping the LEDs on bright all the time?

...wife's key was in her purse, other bag was resting on her purse, and the weight of the other bag and something in her purse depressed the unlock button, which opened all the windows. I went outside the next morning (25 degrees out) and the windows were WIDE open. I was lucky it did not rain or snow overnight. I immediately removed that code from the car until spring, since I rarely even open the windows/sunroof during the winter, so there is no need for this feature during the cold months
Handy in warm weather to open windows without getting in the car (if the car is baking in the sun), or to shut a forgotten window or sunroof without needing to go into the car.
Definitely a "seasonal" mod for me
