These came standard on my B7 A4, but I had to install them on my B8 S5.
These come in so handy.
One of many sources for them here:

If you get one, the install is pretty easy.
The only gotcha with this install is that you may break the plastic seat rail end caps removing them to expose the seat bolts. They can be purchased new for pretty cheap at any Audi parts supplier, local or online.
You will need a triple square 10mm bit to remove the 4 bolts holding the seat down. Tip the seat backwards resting it on the rear seat. Install the drawer. Bolt seat back to floor. Done. It's really only 10-15 minutes of effort.
The passenger side may need the repositioning of an electronic module (mine did), but the wiring was sufficiently long that a few zip ties and a small sheet of open cell foam made quick work of it and eliminated all possibility of rattles/squeeks.

I've still yet to hear of one use of that compartment...
It's clearly less convenient than the glove box or the side box between the two front seats... so what would you even put in there? Nothing fits aside from a phone or perhaps cigarettes.
