Spacers... requesting pics
I've noticed H&R offers different-sized spacers (3mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm...at madaudi), and I'd really like to see the difference they make to the cars, aesthetically. Anyone have pictures that highlight these differences?
I'm very intrigued in making these my next mod (along with springs), but don't want the wheels sticking out *too* much.
Quatt, what size spacers are you running?

If you're planning to stick with your stock wheels...
I was using 25mm front and 30mm rear spacers and it looks awesome. The car did get dirty quickly though. If I were to do it again I would go with 20mm front and 25 rear. It was very aggressive, but you'd be best with the ladder, especially if you plan on lowering and don't want the tires to rub.
Getting new rims? The offset will be more aggressive than stock wheels and you won't need spacers, but you may want to put on very small spacers to get that perfect look if you like them pushed way out to the fenders.

I'm running 25mm spacers at the moment with the stockers. They rub when I have a
passenger and take a turn too aggressively or hit a large dip. This is in the rear only and a slight shave sound. I'd say go for the 20mm to play it safe. I'll snap a pic this morning for you.

so it's safe to run staggered with quattro?
I don't think I'll be going above 15mm. The most I'd do is 15mm all around, the least would be 10mm all around. Possibly a 10-15 setup.
All with H&R 1" drop.

You can, no problems. With spacers you are only changing the track, tire diameters and widths are still the same. You'll be completely fine with the 1" drop. The 20mm would look really good on your car though and you wouldn't have to sandwich the spacers between the wheel and hub with longer bolts.

Your neighbors and friends who see your car frequently must be concerned about your
mental health, with all of your wheel changes! Unless you owned a wheel shop, it would be ok. That said... Hope the new wheels work out well and keep you happy!

I really hope this next set makes me happy. I think I've put in too much energy
on changing them up this time around, so will have to live with them even if they end up not having the look I'm hoping for. If only I had my own wheel company to absorb some of these costs. Could call it R&D
