An Update ...
Sounds like some of you won't be waiting for much longer. Just thought I'd let you know there is hope. My wait finally ended today. Took delivery of an absolutely spectactular looking and driving 2012 A5 S-line in Phantom Black. All the salespeople were drooling. It was a really long wait, but definitely worth it. I have lots to learn to figure out how everything works, but look forward to a fun weekend. Will post pictures once I get the windows tinted.
Ordered: 6/3/11
Completed Build / Inspection: 8/18/11
Ship Loaded (Germany): 9/4/11
Ship passed through Panama Canal: 9/20/11
Ship Arrived (San Diego): 9/30/11
Took delivery at dealer: 10/12/11
Total wait: 131 days!

2012 S5 cabriolet
Just got my 2012 S5 cab Permium + two weeks ago. I customer ordered it back in April. It is now in the shop geting the STaSIS Challenge upgrade installed. I should hopefully have it back this Wednesday!

I wonder how long it takes if you only were to get the STaSIS chip upgrade.
