you could always tilt your sunroof a bit and perhaps aid you perspirate your sweaty back, this is first time i hear about any driver complaining about its back sweating in excess or like someone explain in here getting the cabriolet comfort seats installed in your vehicle which may cost you a fortune to swap but it may help you in the long run, is money an issue for you?

Lumbar mesh supports. They don't look as bad as those dreaded beaded seat covers and you can simply say you need them because of back problems.

I've looked at those, and actually have the ventilated seat cushion, which looks like crap. The lumbar mesh support looks like it would wear on the leather seat, though.

There's nothing more breathable or aesthetically acceptable as color-matched mesh support (comes in black, beige, or grey). It's made of synthetic materials and shouldn't scratch leather at all. I guess it could wear the seat at the points of contact but the mesh is pretty soft so I doubt it would happen. But I would check them out myself at your local Walmart or Walgreens.

Your only other option is to blast the air conditioner or throw a towel over the seat.

Audi does offer ventilated seats - it's part of the Comfort Package. However, retro-fitting them would be a very expensive proposition. But if you are considering buying a new Audi, keep in mind the Comfort Package,

i had a 2006 m35(x) also, and those cooled seats were great and I definitely miss the car. To bad they wanted $29,500 buyout at the end of my 39 month lease with 50,000 miles on it!
