Nope. The advanced key feature can't sense when a person is in the car, only when the key is in/near the car.

My salesman specifically informed me that the system knows if the key is inside or outside the car. If the key is outside the car, say, having been dropped on the ground, the car will not start. Maybe this extends to locks.
