Default Thunderhill

I've never posted before, but have followed these threads for years. I picked up my S5 about 3 weeks ago from Rector Audi. Ordered back in October, identical to the demo cars. Put 1,100 miles on it to break it in, and then took it to a full day of lapping at Thunderhill north of Sacramento. Consistently ran in the 2:20 range and best lap was 2:17. Much better balanced than my 2005 S4.

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/147059/_hop0321.jpg</a

Default great photos

Hey I got my Daytona Gray S5 from Rector two weeks ago tomorrow. I ordered way before you but changed my order to a custom color which delayed it a few months. The Meteor looks great. Congrats.

I also had an 05 S4 and I too noticed a huge improvement with the B8 platform over the B6.

Default Any modifications?

Sweet photo, I can imagine that big grin inside your helmet =)

I'm getting ready for my first track day in a few weeks... did you keep everything stock with no problems... i.e. engine oil, brake fluid, pads?

I'll be at Infineon and I think they are 4 x 20 minute sessions for HPDE 1. Just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any problems with the performance.

Do you have any videos?

Default Ouch! Door ding on passenger side? Beautiful photos, great color combo!

Hopefully, it's just a reflection I'm seeing there. Did the track take these pics? They're great.
