So you read about folks not having their A5's that they ordered in 2007, but presently I'm seeing folks with orders being placed now having a Sep/Oct scheduled delivery. Can those of you with A5's post how long you actually waited from order to delivery? I'm trying to get a feel for how reliable the estimates are. And if your delivery varied greatly from what you were quoted, please indicate that as well.

system delivery eta was 06/30..
actual build week was 04/21..
arrived at dealer on 06/11..
collected from dealer on 06/13..

Ordered on 4/21 (they had an immediate allocation)
Build week 6/4
On a boat 6/27
ETA for Arrival at port 7/23
ETA for arrival at Dealer 7/28
ETA for pickup 8/4

I think that some time will be shaved off the back end of that since the port is less than 2 hours drive from the dealer, and it shouldn't take the dealer that long to prep the car.

But still held up at port because Audi hasnt released 2009 figures.

I would call and yell. the 2009 prices for S5's are available. I've signed my contract and arranged financing etc for my 2009 earlier this week, and there should be no delays once it gets in to port next week. I've only seen the official S5 sheet, but not the A5 sheet, so that may still be unavailable.
