Default Trailer Hitch for the A5

Living in the rural area, I have the need to take my garbage to the dump about two miles away using a small, light, utility trailer. I am currently using a Hidden Hitch on my '99 Solara but see that Hidden Hitch does not manufacture for my anticipated purchase, a 2010 A5 2.0T. I am sure this may seem blasphemous to most here, ha ha ha ... but perhaps some here have knowledge of where I might look for a light trailer hitch for an A5.

Blasphemy!!!

That's too funny that's literally all I was going to write when I read the title of your post, and you yourself pointed it out, beat me to the punch. So, you know the answer to this one.

I'm sure there's some clunkers left somewhere. I'd drop $750 on a beater to haul the trash before I'd put a hitch on the A5.

Buying a beater truck, parking it somewhere and insuring it is a lot to go through for the occasional trip to the dump. There is nothing wrong with wanting a light-duty hitch on an A5, assuming it was totally hidden as the OP's previous hitch was. However, I'm not sure that it's possible to mount a totally hidden hitch on the A5, and you certainly don't want one that is visible.

I say go for it. It's your car! I haven't seen any trailer hitches for the A5, though.

If you do find trailer hitch for your A5, do post a picture of the A5 with the trailer in tow. Priceless.

Default You don't meed no stinkin' hitch..

when you have lots of trunk room...and don't forget the back seat, lots of space for garbage there also. Also, thought I saw a gun rack kit somewhere on the Internet.
