Default Those guys ar on drugs...you can't compare 265hp A5 engine with 360hp BMW 6 engine....
Not to mention that from what I heard A5 is the reincarnated coupe model offered by Audi in late 70s/80s designed with young people in mind.

I don't know many young people ready to spend $60K+ for coupe. Also if A5 woud even start in BMW 6 range (which we already know is not true)then S5 need to be priced in $70K+ range ....and I am even scared to think about RS5 price.

I think those guys from Autoweek don't have a clue what are they talking about.
After all it is Audi not a Bentley GT.

Default To me it looks like the Audi A7 (2009) will compete with BMW 6-series (and Merc CLS). n.t.

But what would you compare to the 507 hp M6? There's going to be an odd man out.

Audi calls it a "B8" A5 for a reason... it's not a "C7" A5, plus BMW doesn't sell a 620i...

You are right. I didn't think about this. I agree that it's the 3-series.
