Hello Everyone.
I used to have a 2000 Audi A6 4.2L.
And I use my Ebay Vagcom cable with the 409 version of Vagcom and it works fine for me.
Can I still use that for my new 2009 Audi A5?

For me - my friend used the same Vag Com cable that he was using on my 2003 Cabriolet and 2005 A3, with free software upgrades from Ross Tech. Don't know if that means anything.
