Are these cars sold in the US?

Yup. Called the A5 Sportback available since 2009. Not available for the U.S. though.

God its beautiful! I saw my first one down in Cancun this week, 2013 at that. Couldn't you import one?

No. Won't meet U.S. federal regulation requirements. Audi chose to make the A7/S7 available in NA instead.

They have S5's as well - Found this one in Austria last week.

People are snatching up the A7 and they sure get a lot of looks. Audi really should import them here. They would sell and not cost over 60000

Man that blows! I fell in love with the 2013 a5 4 door! It would be such a great selling car here in the US. I had the 2013 A7 as a loaner for two weeks and it was amazing except for the fact that its quite heavy and acceleration is weak! My a4 could of kept up with it...
