Default detailersdomain.com is the place, you get a 10% AW discount

And Phil is great. Please support Him.

I think using detail spray while drying your car is a key step to making it shine in between waxing.

Default Re: The breath of god can scratch your car, if there's dirt involved. To say, "If this dirt thing

Wash the car with two buckets. One for the wash agent, one to rinse the washing towel/mitt etc. Use a low pressure spray with an in-line mineral filter. Mr. Clean is OK and better than nothing as long as you change the filters regularly. Clean the dirtiest parts of the car last (bottom 1/4 panels and rear). Sheet off the water before drying as described in a previous post. Dry with a 100% cotton terry towel or a textured microfiber towel as noted above so that the dirt can be trapped in the depth of the nap and not at the surface where it will scratch the surface. Keep changing the towels. Don't wash your towels with fabric softener (I wash mine in a high temp commercial type washer). Finishing sprays will keep your paint looking it's best between waxes but make sure the surface is absolutely clean.

you can use this tool, or you can try

Spritzing detail spray at the end of a wash and use some Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towels.<ul><li><a href="http://www.detailersdomain.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&amp;ProdID=159">CR Spotless at Detailer's Domain</a></li></ul>

Default I use the silicon blade on my brillant black, the worst (for scratch visibility).

and it's ok if the paint is clean, and more importantly, the blade is washed as well.

No additional scratches so far.

Default no thanks, there are plenty of other suppliers with excellent products and prices

and I don't disagree with using QD spray after a wash, just not using the waffle weave towels to do it.

Default + another for CA Water Blade

I always wipe the blade clean before and after use... when using, don't press down too hard, just light enough to get most water off (don't need to get ALL water off), then there will be hardly any water left, then 2-3 towels will completely dry the car.

Also, you learn to do it very fast, but be careful of the plastic handle scratching the car.
