Well it finally happened. Run in with the LAW in the S5.
Pulled out of a restaurant after having a nice dinner. Driving slow out of the parking lot to pull onto the street, when a cop comes flying around to catch me. Pulls me over and two other cops come full speed from the other direction, screeching around the corner as if I was some sort of criminal. At this point I have three cop cars behind my S5. Ask why I was pulled over and get no answer just a "Give me your license and registration". Cop starts checking VIN, asks for all my papers, insurance, etc. I produce, giving them everything from E.H. Harms, contract, everything.... They make me wait another 30 minutes so they can write me a citation for no license plate. Do they really think if I was driving a stolen vehicle that I would put obvious German plates on my car??? Guess it doesn't matter if you received the CA plates from the DMV or not, cops don't like EU plates. Right at this moment, I'm not feeling good about cops either...
Oh well, I guess it's time to put the paper plates back on -or- since I have the ticket now, maybe I can continue to drive this way for awhile. Double Jeopardy?

It's cuz you live in So.OC bro. Cops don't have anything else better to do.
I've gotten some of the lamest (I need more brownie point) tickets in my life right there in the land of the "OC Housewives"!! LOL
What idiot would steal a high profile easily recognizable car like the S5 & then go to a shopping center in BROAD DAAAAAY LIGHT!!!!????
You'd take the car to a warehouse strip it & be gone. I mean I don't know the exact recipe but I'm just saying you don't go cruising in the day!

I understand that cops deal with a lot of stuff during the day but
at the same time they could treat people a little better as well. It's interesting that they can speed around town (no lights on), run through a red light or two, and break the law but when it comes down to what an average person doing the most petty thing, they are all over it.
I guess it's a case of do as I say not as I do.
With the speed that they came out of no where and pulled me over, I have to wonder if they were staking out my car as I was in the restaurant eating tonight.
You're probably right, they have nothing better to do and just want to make their shift a little more exciting.
