Default I can tell you about my coverage, which sounds about the same.

Here's the breakdown for six months on my A6 with $500 deductible. I'm in Minneapolis. My insurance guy tells me it's only going to go up slightly for the A5.

This does reflect a multiline discount as we have our home and another car insured with Travelers. Also, no tickets or accidents in the last three years.

But it is definitely a good deal.

A. Bodily Injury
$250,000 each person............... $ 30
$500,000 each accident

B. Property Damage
$100,000 each accident............. $ 31

D. Uninsured Motorists Bodily Injury
$100,000 each person............... $ 13
$300,000 each accident
See Endorsement A22045

D1. Underinsured Motorists Bodily Injury
$100,000 each person............... $ 19
$300,000 each accident
See Endorsement A22045

E. Collision
Actual Cash Value less............. $ 68
$500 deductible

F. Comprehensive
(Other than Collision)
Actual Cash Value less............. $ 62
$500 deductible

No deductible for glass............ Incl* Incl*
See Endorsement A00350

G. Extended Transportation Expense
$30 per day/$900 maximum........... $ 12
See Endorsement A00391

Q1. Personal Injury Protection......... $ 20
Non-Stacked
Deductible Option A Applies
See Endorsement A22025

Subtotals for your vehicles............. $ 255

Default I think I'm around 70mo with the S5... (State Farm)

I've always considered Audi's to be on the inexpensive side - likely due to their superior safety over the competition.

Default My Insurance was much cheaper than i expected

I use USAA - fairly good policy came out to $330 for six months - i was expected it to be closer to $500 so i was pretty happy.

Default It's not

You dont say your location so it may be a regional issue but the S5 was cheaper than my lower powered Jag last year and this years premium was unchanged.

You might want to check with Travelers. I've found them surprisingly competitive.

Default Re: It's not

it is when i am paying 800 a year for an A5 and 900 for an M3
which is 15K more expensive
which leads me to beleive the Audi is very expensive to repair, hence the high price
