Will the 2011 S5 have the 3.0 supercharged engine?

Will the 2011 S5 have the 3.0 supercharged engine?
I'm curious....has anyone heard about this? I know they are already doing this with the convertible, but what about the regular 2011 coupe?

The order guides for the 2011 S5 Coupe list the V8 for the engine and it matches some of the reports that the 3.0T engine won't be fitted into the coupe until 2012 at the earliest.

I wonder why they would do this. If they can fit it in the convertible how much harder is it to fit it in a non-convertible?

I don't think it's a fitment issue (since the 3.0T is installed on the Cabriolet, as you mentioned, as well as the S5 Sportback), but rather a product positioning thing.
The RS5 will be coming out with a modified V8 (tweaked version of the V8 in the RS4), S-Tronic and a new quattro setup, which would fill the hi-po V8 segment. At that point, Audi would look at dropping the V8 from the S5 coupe and put in the 3.0T in its place. That way there is more of an even gap between the A5 products (A5 2.0T, S5 3.0T, RS5 4.2).
Also, don't forget some of the vocal cries in the community when Audi announced that the V8 would be phased out for the 3.0T. There were pleas of keeping the V8, because it is a naturally aspirated V8 and it has a lovely, intoxicating sound
The other thing that Audi probably decided on with keeping the V8 in the coupe for the time being is that the S5 is also positioned as a grand tourer, in addition to a performance coupe.
While I had been excited about getting an S5 with the 3.0T and S-Tronic a while back, but after test driving an S5 with a manual, I decided to go with the V8 and take the gas tax and hit at the pump

but man, the tuning options on the 3.0T will be great since it's force induction.
I really like the sound of the v8 but I like everything else on the v6supercharged.

The S5 coupe will have the supercharged gasoline V6 in late CY2011 for MY2012
At this time, the S5 coupe will have the excellent seven speed (which, eventually, could be a nine-speed; this is far from confirmed or official) S-Tronic direct shift gearbox (or DSG for short) transmission (the new DL750 unit that will have a maximum capacity of 553 lbs-ft of torque/750 nm) that, admittedly, is a few hundred dollars more expensive but far better in every conceivable way than the dinosaur Tiptronic automatic transmission.
The DL part means DSG transmission for longitudinally mounted engines while the 750 part is the transmissions maximum torque capacity in newtonmeters or nm for short, (hence the DL750 designation).
The new eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, however, is almost as expensive but-in every conceivable way-almost as good as the S-Tronic DSG transmission.
