45,000 miles for $40K + you pay for transportation & misc = say $1,000. $41,000. You have about 5,000 miles before warranty expires. You drive it for 1 more year and you'll have 60,000 miles or near that. Don't know. Seems too high for me. If it had 25,000 miles, it would be a good bargain.
If budget is important, get a brand new S4 for $49,000.

I would bid less than $40K, probably 36-37. If you get it for that you have some $$ left for repairs if needed. It's a high mileage car, it may have been driven hard............possibly.
At $37K tops you can feel pretty good about it, if it doesn't happen at that turn the page and move on, not the car for you.

Okay, look at this, It's 45k miles, which is 55k away from 100k mark. That lasts me for just over 3 yrs. Is it really worth 40k? If you drive it around 10k/yr then other cars on the market will catch up quickly and depreciation of your car will balance out as you don't drive much. if that's the case, awsome. If you drive around 15-20k/yr like I do, your car not only depreciates like others but also depreciates a bit faster due to high mileage. Not worth the money. Wait out a bit (couple months, maybe) you will one around that price range with a whole lot less miles. Just my .02.
