I agree! But I am a fan of the RS5 "quattro" grilles regardless of the car they are on. Not the badging though. So much cringe when I see an "AMG" badge after a Mercedes "550"... AMG is only made in double digits not triple.
-=Hot|Ice=-, not sure if this one is in here but if it’s not can you add the following to the google doc? I just made this change to my 18 S5 SB which i believe is standard on the RS5.
It adds an additional screen when pressing the silver heads up button on the dash. The new screen shows the details in the pic below. Here are the screens.
1. Normal - Current speed, speed limit, nav info etc.
2. Sport - Current speed, lap time, engine temp, current gear etc.
3. Off
“Head Up Display”
“Long Coding”
“Laptimer_activated” select “available”
press and hold green check mark to save.
I am not able to get the oil temp and current gear with lap timer to show up in my HUD. Is there a trick? I already have the laptimer active, and have tried the procedures in the forum. Any idea how to get this to work in my 2018 Q5 Prestige?

You might need to have the hood open for that coding!

Unfortunately that didn't help. I even disabled the lap timer, then re-enabled it, and no change. The gray button for the HUD only turns on/off the HUD and nothing more. Was really hoping to see the gear on there. Oh well. Not sure, but thanks for trying!
