OBD Eleven / Voltas IT is not German; they are one of the Slavic Countries but they may have learned from the Germans.

OBDEleven is figuring out how to increase income, with the unannounced changes. About all there is left to do is increase the amount of credits it takes to make changes. I think we will see this in the near future. Like the last two flubs it will be unannounced until you find out that instead of 10 credits it now requires 25, and a 100 credit App is 150 or more!

You're probably right, I sure hope they don't figure that one out!

Cannot blame Voltas for wringing a few more bucks...that's capitalism! Also, perhaps with fewer cars being made and sold they probably lost some business too.

While I agree with your capitalism post, it’s their total lack of advance notice. It’s not like you could cheat and get more than 6 credits a day. Perhaps that’s a cultural thing in their country — I have zero idea — but it felt very non-customer-centric to me.

It is what it is; I agree with @synergize as far as their next move, will they claim “supply chain problems” or “inflation” for increasing the cost of using their pre-written apps?

Voltas IT is Lithuanian (Baltic country), based in the city of Kaunas. Just google "Voltas IT".
