130 kph (81 mph) is the European standard speed limit, I believe.

Just FYI to 2024 owners, Audi has hard locked many modules and OBD11 is practically unusable.

FWIW, I have not encountered any locked (SFD protected) modules so far on my Canadian market 2024 A4. I was able to make following adaptations;

Deactivate Start/Stop
Display Gear in D/S
Scandinavian taillights
Highway Lights - (car accepted adaptation but not sure of effect)
Comfort Operation Range limitation

"Freeway Flashing" unable to change due to hardware change on '24

These were to only changes I wanted to make. It'll be interesting to hear what others encounter with respect to locked modules on their '24's

I read elsewhere on AW that Highway Lights is only applicable to xenon headlamps.

The coder who activated my MATRIX headlights said that the modules were locked. Also why did you have to activate Scandinavian taillights? That should be standard for Canadian cars now.

As mentioned above didn't encounter any locked modules for the coding I performed on my 2024 A4 produced week 41 2023. BTW did Sam do your lights?

Also why do you think rear DRL's (Scandinavian taillights) are standard in Canada? Wasn't on my '24.

Did the original poster perhaps mean ABS flashing brake lights?

Yes Sam did mine and he was the one who told me that. I actually requested for the Scandinavian taillights which I activated on my old 18' A4... and he told me that its standard now on Canadian-spec. Hold and behold, my taillights are on all the time by default from what I've seen.
I have yet to test out the OBD11 on the 24' A5 which I have collecting dust somewhere.

I wonder if it was a matter of production week that differentiated yours being unlocked and mine being locked. How do I find out what week my vehicle was made?

Look at the sticker by the driver's door jam - should be a sticker there with the production date.
