Default 2018 RS5 / S5 Mirror tap
Anyone tap their mirror for their radar detector yet? I can't find any service manuals / details that show where the housing clips are and i'd hate to damage something if I don't have to.

This is a good tread on the subject. I wired my dash cam into the mirror and it worked great.

This is perfect, not sure how I didn't see it when I searched, thanks! Might wire up the dash cam too now.

How did your mirror tap installation go? I am hesitant to twist off the mirror assembly.

How much power can you draw from the mirror wiring? Im sure you can upgrade the fuse, but drawing too much power would damage those wires.
