Absolutely can. Read back a few posts.

I went back and reread that post. I think i understand now. I guess i need to pay Audi a lot of money (below someone quoted $400+) to get maps updated. Sigh. Thanks.

I am surprised no one has a key generator on any of these forums. Perhaps it won't work for Audi. I know the BMW forums always had someone that could generate the file for you if you provided the last six of your VIN and usually charged around $50 for the update.

I’m going to see if they will do that. Unfortunately I do not have any more free map updates left. Hopefully I can get them to take off labor charge as I’m also getting 20,000 mile service.

Awesome thanks. I saw daaavid's post about ability to use an USB stick but thought I read somewhere else where you couldn't but I'll give it a shot.

No thank you!!
Robbery man...hell no! Ain;t that much in the update for that price. I downloaded mine and did it for free. I'd say find a fellow member to help you with a set of upgrade files. That's just crazy...it should be a free service with each service on the car especially if one has Audi Care also! Just saying...

Won't matter without the system being updated to accept it past the free updates.

$470 is a joke when the infrastructure already exists to provide owner-installed updates. It's like Audi wants to be known as the manufacturer that is most primitive in terms of connected features. Does AudiConnect even provide free map updates (I don't think it does)?

Not that I’ve ever been told. I agree - ridiculous price and limited value. Maybe every two years but even then, that’s crazy-money!

Just to compare: Acura gets between $99 & $149 for their DVD update discs (2 for each update), which I buy every other year for our RDX.
