Go to settings (grey gear) press the side button the three lines to the left and there is something in there about system click on that and scroll down to maps update and badabing badaboom click what you want updated

If you poke around in the update files, it appears to contain updates for multiple MMI versions with MIB1 and MIB2 folders. But I'd probably grab the update for the specific car anyway.
