But it's lightyears better than the BeaverMotorWorks bucktooth grill
Very true. But this thread has gone off the rails as the A6 e-tron doesn't look like the new B10 A5 series, aparte from them both being Sportback style vehicles. I imagine the B10 RS5 will look at least as aggressive as the C8 RS6 that B7Quattro Pete rightly admires.
I think the lines on this very recent render by 4rings.ai are too sharp, which is Cupra territory, and the headlights aren't quite right. Noting that no RS5 body prototypes, either Avant or Sportback, have been seen and probably won't be for 6 months or even more. But when I look at what BMW or Mercedes are doing inside and out, I don't think it's a contest in design terms.
I was at my local dealership a few days back. Normally I don't even bother glancing around the showroom as it is typically filled with Q4 or Q8 e-trons and the rest are Q3s. But my eyes popped out of my head at an RS5 Sportback Competition in Daytona, black pack and carbon. Next to it was an RS3 sedan in matt finish Daytona with black pack. They both looked amazingly good. I am so sick of seeing SUV's and ugly cars, I left there smiling and checking my bank account...

Interesting exhaust setup. They're much more inboard than previous models and they both seem to be valved with a single pipe for each tip instead of dual pipes. The article mentions that they're probably temporary units. Maybe they're using the bumper from another model? That would explain the extra cut out on the driver's side.
I'm not a fan of wagons (traumatized as a kid from our '78 Pontiac), but there does seem to be some interesting elements to it.
Will be interesting to see the final version without camo. Also looking forward to seeing a sportback version.
Fair enough. I'm the opposite. I took my driver's test in my parent's '73 Pontiac Grand Safari wagon. Since then I've owned several, and will probably always own one as long as they're available. I was so disappointed when they stopped bringing the A4 Avant here. Traded a 2010 A4 Avant for a 2021 A4 sedan and wasn't a fan. Traded that in for the A4 Allroad I currently drive and all is right with the world again.

Im not — and have never been — a fan of a 4 door car. 2 doors and a hatch works fine for me but 4 doors are 2 too many.
IF that car in the picture was released, I would really have to do a lot of soul searching.
