I bought the dash speakers, tweeters and door speaker adapters from Bruce and fitted them with Audison Prima 6.5P ‘s to the car. The overall sound quality is completely transformed but I still have the original subwoofer in the rear parcel shelf and the base is really poor. The mid and high range is excellent and the separation is great too but anytime I try to play anything with bass it’s just not there and the sub vibrates.
Has anyone here upgraded their subwoofer and if so what did you fit and was it easy enough?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I'm also thinking of replacing dash speakers as explained in this thread.
I see that most people were using 80uF or 82uF capacitors for tweeters which should provide a cutt-off freq. of 250Hz at 8Ohm.
Considering that it's a 6dB crossover, that could be too for these 3" drivers. Did anyone test with 68uF capacitors? Cutting off higher may provide more clarity at higher volumes.
On the other hand, door speakers should handle midbass.
Any thoughts?
