Default A5 Coupe - good lease price?

I will be picking up my 2018 A5 Coupe on Wednesday and think I got a good deal on a three year, 10k per year lease for $390 a month. Do you guys feel like this is a good price for this configuration? I put down $12.5k between my trade in and cash.

Zero miles - fresh off the boat
Mythos Black Metallic
Premium Plus
Navigation Package
S line Sport Package
A5 Logo Audi Guard All Weather Floor Mats
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
Gray Oak Wood Inlays
Rings Audi Beam

Total price $51,525

Thanks for any input!

Why are you putting so much down? You typically want to put the lowest amount possible down for a lease.

Long story short, my work situation is fluid. I’d rather have a small note in case things go sideways income wise.

Sounds like you should save that cash and buy a cheaper car.

Me personally, I would have put down another $2500, and financed the car over 4 or 5 yrs (at a higher notes sure) but I'd own it at the end. If at the end of 3 yrs I wanted to swap it out for something new, I'd have some positive equity to do so.

But everyone's situation is a bit different.

Why would you want to own a depreciating asset?

We dont need to mince words and be nice here...

PRE-PAYING a lease (thats what the down payment is) is an objectively terrible idea. Do not do it, ever.

You should be looking at .00050 MF and 54% residual for a coupe P+ 36/12 lease at current rates. Use this website to figure out payments - https://leasehackr.com/calculator/
I would not put 12k down on a lease, period.

Lease rates on A5 are not all that friendly it appears.

I get the putting down to make payments less...but you can take the money, open a savings account and pay 1/36th (or whatever) of the savings every month. That's all they're doing. And if your car gets totalled. Your down payment is gone 😥
