Worked for me! Reverse, parking assist and toggling in and out of the menu worked seamlessly.

It wasn't an Audi problem, but an Apple issue.

Mine errors are now also resolved.

Unfortunately 11.3 didn't fix any of my issues.

Default Dave

I've had the same issue with CarPlay as described below. When reverse is selected and the camera screen come up, CarPlay is locked out and as the Bluetooth is deactivated while the phone is plugged in, the phone becomes inoperable until it's unplugged.

I've spent literally hours on the phone with Apple trouble shooting the problem with no luck. When I contacting the local dealer and Audi Canada....... Gee I've never heard of that problem...... then after a long discussion they admit a lot of customers have the same problem. They now tell me they are waiting for a system update from Audi.

Listen I love the car great power train and superb ride and handling. Is it to much to ask that when they have a known problem that they admit it and fix it.

Jamis: Have you tried deleting your iphone from you car's system, and erasing the car in your iphone system? I'd also reboot both systems (turn the car off then back on; turn the iphone off then back on) and re-pair the phone to the car. This trick used to work on my old Infiniti when I encountered issues after an iphone update.

Dave Peters: Have you updated your iphone to 11.3? That seems to be fixing the issue.

Yes my phone has the latest up date. During the Apple techs phone call he reset all systems and had me return the the car to original settings. None of this worked major pain. I purchased the car in October and the problem started in December I think. As long as you don't activate the cameras as in backing up it works normally.
