Default Audi financing

If there is a discount if you finance with Audi, can you pay it off without penalty at the time of the first payment? Going to pay cash for my RS 5 when it gets here, but if there is a discount for Audi financing, without a prepayment penalty, why not?

No prepayment penalty with AFS (I just checked my loan note), and I got the $1k loyalty rebate for financing with them.

Wondering if they will have the “Summer of Audi” event this year and what models will be offered in that deal?

My dealer said he gets better (lower) finance deals fro bank than the AoA financing - but I’m still waiting so I don’t know what’s going to be a better deal when mine comes in.

I got the discount and then paid off the note as soon as I got my first statement and before any payment was made. I refinanced with a credit union that was lower than any other rate I found.

I financed the minimum to get the rebate which was 10k. My friend is the GM of the dealer and cut me a very good deal, told me that if you pay it off before 3 months the dealer gets charged back their profit off the so I’m paying mine off in 3-4 payments

AFS rates are high. I believe my rate was 6% with very good credit. Was given $1K rebate on my RS5 if financed through AFS. Same deal as others have stated, no early payoff off penalty however the dealer will ask you to wait for the 4th payment until payoff.

Hmmm. How long ago? Mine was last month. Dealing with finance was by far the worse part of the buying experience. I wouldn't doubt if the guy was trying to rip me off. On the on the other hand, my rate could have been higher because I was buying a RS5? Were they offering special financing when you purchased your vehicle?

Mine was end of April - dealer's website initially showed AFS rate as 3.99% for "top tier" credit (score above 720) and I told them I wasn't going to pay more than 2.99% or else I'd finance with AAA or a local CU. I only wanted the AFS deal for the $1k loyalty rebate, and plan to pay off in next month or two (only financed $15k).
