I don't have B&O but what I have found is that the over all freq response on my *** is different at different volume levels. Bad news is that the system sounds terrible at soft or normal listening levels. But turn it slightly higher and things are much better. I really don't know why. It's almost like the DSP is volume related.
Do you guys with B&O experience the same thing?
P.S. 1000miles later has been quoted as the audio system break in too.

I have no complaints about the B&O system in my S5 coupe. Most of the complaints I hear are about the lack of bass in the sportback due to the crappy sub in the wheel well. The coupe at least has the benefit of being able to use the trunk space as an enclosure.

It’s hit or miss for me with the B & O. I think it’s great more often than not.
For me me it depends a lot on the music I’m listening to. If I’m listening to classic rock then I think it’s awesome. Bass is just right, the 3D sound also does a great job of separating/isolating the channels.
If im listening to reggae or hip hop then yea, bass is a little flat.
Volume me seems to play a big role too. At low volume the system just doesn’t kick. Everything is soft. At high volume the system performs much better and balanced.
Either way, I’m happy with it.

You are spot on, also the coupe benefits from a proper 10 inch sub, whereas the sportback gets an 6.5inch midwoofer.
