I have taken pictures of my Pixel 3 (5.7" tall) mounted in the tall cradle version. The iPhone 12 in comparison is 5.78" tall. Just before the armrest reaches full extension, the phone touches the front of the tray then slides over with a light pressure. The cradle has a built-in angle and the idea was to allow the phone to easily slide in and out without lifting the armrest but unfortunately that isn't the case with the armrest in full extension. Ideally, I should look into increasing the cradle's angle a little bit to provide full clearance in all positions. Let me know if you are interested.

Good afternoon MH, is that with the armrest all the way down? It looks like it. If the armrest was just pulled up a bit then it would clear?

​​​​​​Correct, the armrest is fully down on these pictures. When lifted to the first click, there's plenty of clearance. Thanks for pointing that out.

Just installed this cradle on my S5 2017, definitely worth it if you don’t
have wireless Carplay. It was delivered to the UK in one week
