Hey all so I broke down and bought the grille. I think no one has shown one with a front plate so this is for us less fortunate souls who have to put up with it.
Here are my thoughts;
-Quality of plastic is high, with good fit and finish.
-Needs different plate mounting bracket as it is pretty cheap.
-The plate bracket has to be low in order for camera which blocks out the Quattro lettering.
-Need to cut out bumper crash bar.
-Need to fab up a mounting bracket for camera. (pic enclosed)

Tons of bolts, air dams, belly pans, guards etc. Audi really over engineered it. Definitely it is a good thing but a pain in the *** trying to re and re.
Big pain to get the existing grill to separate from the bumper cover.
This is the picture of my fabbed up camera mount. Finally all done as you can see the plate holder is too large and the plate covers up wordings.

Thanks I do strongly prefer the look of this honeycomb grill.
I think a stow n show license plate holder may be necessary in the future to really bring the appeal out because of the low plate otherwise very happy with install and looks.

Looks great! I like the grill with the silver/chrome accents, matches the car very nicely.
Sounds like bumper and grill removal was a huge pain!? How long did it take you for that process?

4 hours with all of the equipment (includes painting) seriously you need like a legend for the different bolts it is tough to remember where they all go do not underestimate that.
Awesome job on the install of the new grill but Its hard to get a real idea of the look - some of the photos are too close.
Not a fan of the 'plate holder' sticking out of the sides like that but i'm sure someone will come up with a 'fix' for it
Can you take a few photos away and at an angle to get another view?
Appreciate it
