I bought from this buyer and will be receiving the grill soon. Not sure why he would even use Quattrings picture when that is an example of an install that did not have the sensors in place. I spoke with the seller and they said that they did test it in China and it worked (those are the pictures with the white A5). We will see though... the notches look to be in the exact same position as the grills you guys purchased so I do not have high hopes.

Yeah they must be confused. There's no way around the notches for the parking sensors.
I'm just worried about the front camera mount. If I can figure that part out I'll install the grille this week.

What will you do about the front sensors? I don't have the Prestige so I don't have a front camera to worry about but I am curious about what I will do with the sensor placement... wondering if I dremel into the aluminum bar, how much would I need to take out..

I would do exactly what you mentioned, Dremel material in a square cut around the sensor. It will be a 2"x2" cut max. I may even make it in the aluminum bar and the foam pad that way I can put the pad back on.
As for the camera, I have no clue. That's not a problem for you though.

There is a possibility that the sensors work with this grill on cars in other countries because the aluminum bar or crash bar is different on those cars than the North American or US versions.

They are the same. I checked that. The white car above must have cut holes similar to what I described.

Would be quite the project. I haven't taken off a bumper from an Audi before but assume that will take an hour or so for me. Dremel, then paint the crash bar black and then reinstall. Could take the better part of a half day haha.

So I'm trying to understand, is the issue that the grille is too close to the crash bar and cant fit the parking sensor at the original height (with S5 grille) or is the parking sensor height on the chinese grille different than oem?

I should be able to get the bumper off in half an hour or less. The removal of the factory grille is what will take longer.
Dremeling should be pretty quick too.

The replica RS grille has parking sensor mounting points on it that are you high. Thereby colliding with the impact bar during the installation process.
