Default Back into another B9 (RS5 this time)

Hey guys! Some of you may remember me being here before buying a 2020 BMW M340i. Well that has officially been sold! Really such an awesome car and absolutely nothing to complain about. However, I had an amazing opportunity to get into a PERFECT condition 2019 RS5 that was being driven by a GM at a dealership that I know. The discounts they were able to throw at this basically offset any shortfall I had on trading the M340i. This RS5 has every option checked (that I am aware of) including the ceramic brakes. It's even in Nardo which is very rare in Canada as it only comes on RS models.

If you do remember me, you may recall that I went through a number of B9 Audi's in the past few years. A 2018 S5 Coupe, then a 2019 S4, then a 2019 S5 Sportback that I loved but unfortunately was written off by a lady that doesn't understand how roundabouts work. Ugh. Anyways, I started thinking the Audi gods didn't want me to own an Audi lol so I decided to leap over to BMW and get the M340i. That car is ridiculously amazing and made it a hard choice to trade in even for the RS5. Happy to be back though!

Here's a few dealership pics...I'll have to get some new ones once I take delivery.

Welcome back, as you can see I've been an Audi guy for a long time. I had thoughts, at times, of jumping ship and going to the dark side of BMW. I'm glad I didn't.

Thanks guys! As well sorted to drive and the very underrated power that the M340i has, the RS5 was always lingering in the back of my mind to the point where I would close my eyes when I'd see one! Haha The BMW G20 platform is really amazing and I'm happy to have experienced it. The RS5 is on another level though in performance and especially the looks! Still one of the best looking cars on the road at any reasonable price point in my opinion.

And yes...car ADD is definitely real!

I am married with three young kids and my car ADD still runs rampant...despite my wife thinking I'm an obsessed idiot. Haha

Ha. My kids are grown - my wife doesn't stand well for the car obsession.
